Study in the United States of America |

Attention |
This is purely an unofficial and non-profit venture to help people in doubt. I am an individual, unaffiliated with any organization promoting education in the U.S. |
Why U.S.A.? |
1. A U.S. degree is the most widely accepted. 2. The largest educational network in the world 3. Great infrastructure 4. State-of-the-art teaching methods 5. Professional expertise of the faculty 6. Practical applications involving high-technology instruments 7. Great residence life 8. Great sporting opportunities 9. Great student oriented financial opportunities 10. The first step towards an independent life
A very commonly accepted view for Indians is that: undergraduate courses are best done in India and it is practical to do only post-graduation at the U.S. All I say is this is a myth, a baseless interpretation created by people who chide U.S. education for financial reasons. As is the human psychology, grapes are sour if you cannot reach them. An American degree is the most rewarding degree on the planet and an engineer is paid exactly what he is worth (on basis of qualification and quality of work). For example, a mechanical engineer may be paid between $60,000-110,000 per annum, the latter in case of highly qualified ones and the former, the starting salary of bachelors degree graduates. Therefore, the returns after your graduation are quick and rewarding.
Another good reason is the following 2004 survey. Note the number of U.S. Colleges.
